Butter Cake


Ingredients:
  • 250g butter
  • 230g castor sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 250g self-raising flour
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 6 tablespoons UHT milk
Steps:
  1. In a mixer, beat butter and sugar until white and fluffy.
  2. Add in eggs and continue with the beating. (1 egg at a time)
  3. After that, add in self-raising flour and beat for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add vanilla essence and milk.
  5. If the batter is too hard, add more milk. (1 tablespoon at a time)
  6. Preheat the oven with 180°c.
  7. Pour the batter into baking. Make sure the batter is less than half the height of the baking tin to prevent cracking and burnt at the surface.
  8. Bake for cake for 50 minutes.
