Ingredients:
- 250g butter
- 230g castor sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 250g self-raising flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
- 6 tablespoons UHT milk
Steps:
- In a mixer, beat butter and sugar until white and fluffy.
- Add in eggs and continue with the beating. (1 egg at a time)
- After that, add in self-raising flour and beat for about 5 minutes.
- Add vanilla essence and milk.
- If the batter is too hard, add more milk. (1 tablespoon at a time)
- Preheat the oven with 180°c.
- Pour the batter into baking. Make sure the batter is less than half the height of the baking tin to prevent cracking and burnt at the surface.
- Bake for cake for 50 minutes.
